Public Administration Division: Director of Community & Economic Development - Administers community and economic development programs and supervises division staff.  Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in public administration, urban planning or a related field supplemented with seven (7) years’ experience in the public administration/planning field including three (3) years of  direct supervisory and policy development experience.

Social Services Division: Case Management/Service Advisor (part-time and full-time) – Performs case management activities related to Medicaid waiver and in-home services for older adults and persons with disabilities. Home visits in seven-county area. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or closely related Human Service field with 2 years’ full-time experience or Master’s Degree with 6 months’ full-time experience with the appropriate populations.

Social Services Division: Family Caregiver Program Coordinator –
Administers the National Family Caregiver Program and Kentucky Caregiver Program in KIPDA’s seven county region, which includes identifying and engaging with partner agencies in the community on behalf of persons caring for older adults, grandchildren and other kinship youth, persons with disabilities and persons with dementia. Performs eligibility assessments, develops plans of care and provides case management to clients enrolled in the Caregiver Programs. Facilitates access to services, manages outreach and education events, collaborates with partners, coordinates support groups, grant writing, program monitoring, etc. Applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Gerontology, or related field supplemented by two years’ related work experience.

Social Services Division: Program Assessor – Performs eligibility assessments for older persons and persons with disabilities in need of home and community-based services. Assessor will complete assessment of condition and needs of persons seeking services. Extensive home visits in seven-county area required. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work with a minimum of two years’ professional experience, or a Master’s in Social Work with six months’ professional experience, or a licensed RN with home and community-based services experience.

Social Services Division: Special Projects Coordinator – Oversees the management of special projects, including grants and other initiatives, created to serve older adults and persons with disabilities; ensures compliance with contracts and provides support to community partners and volunteers. Will recruit and engage volunteers to work with the State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP); provides training to volunteers and ensures program recipients receive sound benefits counseling and assistance. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in a human services related field with five years’ experience in program management and community relations.
