Request for Proprosals (RFP) for Community Outreach and Assistance To Targeted Populations
KIPDA is seeking proposals from organizations experienced and knowledgeable about Medicare benefits, Medicare prescription drug coverage and the low income subsidy through the Social Security Administration. KIPDA AAAIL has released a Request for Proposal for organizations to provide community outreach activities, assistance and education, enrollment and reporting/evaluation services regarding the low income subsidy. One or more organizations may be chosen to provide services to the targeted populations identified in this proposal. Individuals are to be served regionwide. However, organizations may select the service area (counties) most appropriate for their market area. KIPDA reserves the right to select one organization to serve a service area if appropriate or one organization to serve the entire KIPDA Social Services area.
A mandatory bidder's meeting will be held September 10, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at KIPDA. Applicants located outside of the KIPDA region or out of state may also access the bidder's meeting through conference calling. To reserve a spot for conference calling, contact KIPDA no later than September 9, 2008 by 12:00 noon.
Proposals are due to the KIPDA receptionist desk at KIPDA by September 24, 2008 no later than 12:00 noon (EST). Proposals received after 12:00 noon September 24, 2008 will not be accepted.
