DIVISION OF SOCIAL SERVICES
The Division of Social Services addresses issues as varied as the Consumer Directed Options program for disabled persons of all ages, to the Home Care program for frail elders in need of assistance in order to remain in their homes.
KIPDA also provides Health Promotion programs which provide education on healthy choices and lifestyles. Services are available to elders in the seven county area which includes Bullitt, Henry, Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, and Trimble.

FY 2016 Area Plan Executive Summary

14th on the third floor Metro Council chambers which will be conducted by the
Metro Councils' Public Safety Committee. We encourage everyone that has
both par transit and fixed route concerns to show up and express your views and
thoughts about the quality of service being provided on public transportation
in the Louisville community.

KIPDA In Action: An Analysis of Social Services, Supports, and Needs
KIPDA has completed its most recent needs assessment, in partnership with the University of Louisville Research Foundation, Inc. through the Institute for Sustainable Health and
Optimal Aging. The needs assessment provides clear, understandable and useable information
related to the needs in our communities as it relates to aging successfully in
assessment will ultimately be used in KIPDA’s Regional Plan over the next four
