    Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy for FY2013-FY2018

    The 2014 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy Annual Update is open for public Comment. The public comment period ends September 30, 2014. Please send all comments to Felicia Harper (Felicia.Harper@ky.gov) or 11520 Commonwealth Drive Louisville, KY 40299.

    KIPDA is excited to announce the launch of the Kentucky Agricultural Development Information System (KADIS), the state's first interactive agricultural asset map, designed to identify state agricultural trends, plan for disaster mitigation, and drive economic development efforts.

    The Division of Social Services addresses issues as varied as the Consumer Directed Options program for disabled persons of all ages, to the Home Care program for frail elders in need of assistance in order to remain in their homes.  KIPDA also provides Health Promotion programs which provide education on healthy choices and lifestyles.  Services are available to elders in the seven county area which includes Bullitt, Henry, Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, and Trimble.

    For anyone wanting to comment on the Metropolitan Planning Process regarding transportation planning in the Louisville (KY-IN) Metropolitan Planning Area, the Federal Review Team is taking comments through Tuesday, September 23, 2014.  The form (and instructions for submitting comments) is available from this link: Federal Comment Form (PDF, 60KB).
